The Pacificans, A Pacifica Historical Society Collection.

The Pacifica Historical Society is contracting with longtime Pacifica Tribune features correspondent Jean Bartlett, who is the biographer behind the website, Bartlett’s Biographies, to write stories on living Pacificans and Pacificans now gone selected by the Pacifica Historical Society for our website, our Facebook page, and for printout in our binders that will be located in our Pacifica Coastside Museum at the Little Brown Church for all to read. As we uncover more PHS presentation sources, those sources will also be used. Additionally these stories will be presented on Jean’s website.

These stories are a permanent collection of who we are, where we’ve been and where we are going. We believe in the decades to come, they will be an invaluable resource, not just of and for Pacificans, but of the time we live in now. Jean’s many years of writing feature stories about Pacificans, more than 2,000 stories, in addition to her private family biography work, as well as her published biographies for Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Colma, make her eminently qualified for this Pacifica Historical Society project.
